I had the pleasure of leading the creation of NAB's public facing web design system, from the ground up. This went on to be the basis of the complete rebuild of nab.com.au and other supporting platforms.
- Evidence Driven Design: Each and every component was A/B tested before it was released, with millions of customers.
- Wide adoption: Hundreds of designers were utilising the system, internally as well as by agencies such as Clemenger, AKQA, Deloitte, and others.
- Constantly iterated: Components and layouts were rigorously tested through a constant test cycle to ensure they were best in class.
- Atomic design principles: Every aspect of components from fonts to colours to icons is built using custom dynamic symbols and styles.
- Consolidated design language: We rebuilt thousands of pages on nab.com.au from just 16 components, down from over 80.
